APT
Strategies launches Global Mindset Survey with over 100 websites
(28th June 2001)
Sydney:
APT Strategies, the Sydney based online research company, today
launched their Australian Global Mindset Online Survey - with
over 100 of Australia's largest websites sponsoring the survey
by providing respondents from their websites.
According
to Marc Phillips, CEO of APT Strategies, "With the Australian
Internet market dynamically evolving, e-commerce still growing
and the introduction of wireless technologies, the Global Mindset
survey results will capture the changing devices, activities,
moods, concerns and usage patterns of experienced Australian
Internet users."
The
survey will provide insight into the relationships Australia's
biggest websites have with telecommunications carriers, wireless
device manufacturers, IT vendors, financial institutions and
government departments whilst looking at issues of e-commerce,
security, egovernment, privacy and propensity of Internet users
to pay for valued added services as well as content.
Importantly,
the survey results will allow some of Australia's largest websites
sponsoring the survey to target new markets of mobile phone
and handheld device manufacturers, telecommunications service
providers and government whilst providing existing advertisers
with information about the emerging global mindset of Australian
Internet users.
Websites
involved in the survey include Channel 7 websites, Australian
Stock Exchange, SEEK.com.au, Looksmart.com.au, Start.com.au,
News.com.au, OzEmail.com.au, Yellowpages.com.au, Ticketmaster7.com.au,
Whitepages.com.au, Wishlist.com.au, Jobnet.com.au, Shopfree.com.au,
Trading-Post, SheSaid, Winepool, Ticketek, Jobnet.com.au, and
many more.
Since
1996, APT Strategies conducted 'The Online Readership Survey'
and 'The Online Brands Survey' in Australia, New Zealand, Asia
and the United States - amassing over 30,000 online responses
per year which over 1500 websites have sponsored.
The
survey is located at http://www.aptstrategies.com.au/globalmindsetsurvey.2001/default.asp
Results
will be available in late July, 2001.
